The Infernal City
I started reading the Elder Scrolls novel The Infernal City. It’s pretty good. It is set in Black Marsh, which is interesting in and of itself, and refers to things like the Oblivion Crisis and the Psijic Order. One of the characters is an assassin with the Penitus Oculatus, which is apparently like the Imperial secret police. The action reads a lot like quests in the games.

Medieval Thedas: Time →
medievalthedas:
I’m intrigued by how other cultures, real and fictional, reckon time. I’m not interested in time in a philosophical “Let’s study string theory” kind of way. I did try to get through A Brief History of Time, but, yeah. Thinking about those topics, time and space and the fourth dimension, frightens…
A couple notes on your interesting posts: Germanic peoples probably did...

I really hope they'll make a Silmarillion movie...
The dude and I just discussed this on Christmas day. I said it can’t be done. They might be able to do an extremely bastardized Luthien and Beren story, with some of the other material in narrated cutscene, but I think it would probably be so bad we’d all regret they tried. /cynic
